Praise the LORD, all you who cry out in the night!
For he is not a God of the night but a God of the day.
Will he not hasten the morning?
Praise the LORD, all you who fight and struggle!
Do you not know that the LORD contends for you?
Yea, even in your mind.
Yea, even in your heart.
Be still, and watch for his victory!
For God, the LORD, is a warrior,
and man and mind cannot stand against his mighty breath.
Praise the LORD, all you who are worn and weary!
Your God, the LORD, is neither worn nor weary,
and you O child were created in his likeness.
Be renewed in his breath, and be strengthened by his voice!
Praise the LORD, all you who are hopeless!
Have you not heard that God, the LORD, is both redeemer and judge?
He will never let you fall, nor let your oppressors escape.
The LORD our God is mover of mountains,
he is calmer of storms.
Praise the LORD, all you who trust in his holy name!
Raise up a shout, all you who know his character!
Trust in the LORD, and lean into his victorious love!
For he, the LORD, is worthy to be trusted.
Holy is his love.
